TENNIELL from KINFOLK IMAGERY

For Tenniell, photography is a means of expressing what cannot be conveyed through words alone, a way to communicate feelings and thoughts through stillness and form.

Her journey began at the age of 8, when she would play in the garden with her grandfather's old Hanimex camera. Reloading ruined film over and over, all the while discovering something innate and reflexive about herself. Decades later, it became clear that what was being unearthed was an instinctive desire to photograph the world as she feels it.

After years of claiming it only as a hobby, Tenniell enrolled to study Photography & Photo Imaging at CATC Design School in Melbourne. Her true passion was finally being realised.
